These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you use the Pay Once Sites website, submit an enquiry, or engage us to provide website design and related services.

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or proceeding with a project.

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or instructing Pay Once Sites to begin work on a website project, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About Pay Once Sites

Pay Once Sites provides website design and related digital services for tradespeople, local service businesses, small businesses and SMEs in the United Kingdom.

Our core offer is a professional website package for £399 as described on our website, subject to the scope and terms set out below.

Pay Once Sites is designed for business customers. Our services are intended for people and organisations purchasing a website for business or professional purposes.

2. Our Standard £399 Website Offer

Our standard website package includes:

The £399 package is designed for straightforward one-page business websites. If your requirements are larger, more technical or outside the standard package, we may provide a separate quotation before beginning work.

3. No Upfront Payment

For the standard £399 website package:

Nothing is due unless you approve the website and decide to proceed to launch. Submitting an enquiry does not create an obligation for you to buy.

4. Approval and Payment

Once we send you the website preview, you may:

If you approve the website, payment of £399 becomes due before the website is published live. Payment is made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing. We are not required to publish, transfer or deploy the final website until full payment has been received.

5. Reasonable Revisions Before Launch

Before payment and launch, you may request reasonable revisions to the draft website. Reasonable revisions may include:

Requests that materially change the original scope may require a revised quote. This may include:

We will let you know clearly if a request falls outside the original £399 package.

6. Information You Provide

To create your website, you agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and lawful. This may include:

You are responsible for checking that the final website content is accurate before approving it for launch. We are not responsible for errors, omissions or misleading statements that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.

7. Content, Images and Intellectual Property

You confirm that any text, images, logos, photographs, brand assets or other materials you provide to us belong to you, are licensed for your use, or may lawfully be used on your website.

You agree not to provide content that infringes another party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other legal rights. Pay Once Sites is not responsible for claims arising from materials supplied by you.

8. Ownership of the Website

Once full payment has been received, you own the final website created specifically for your business, including the custom page content, layout and project files, subject to any third-party rights described below.

Some parts of a website may rely on open-source libraries, frameworks, third-party icons, fonts, hosting tools, form handling services, domain services or other third-party software or infrastructure. These remain subject to their own licences and terms.

Any pre-existing tools, reusable code, workflows, templates, development methods or business processes owned by Pay Once Sites remain the property of Pay Once Sites, but you will have the right to use the final delivered website for your business.

9. Domain Names

A domain name is not included in the £399 website fee unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. If you already own a domain, we can help connect it to your website. If you do not own a domain, we may help you choose and set one up.

Domain names are usually renewed annually and typically cost around £10 to £20 per year, depending on the domain extension and registrar. Domain renewal is your responsibility unless we separately agree to manage it for you.

If a domain expires because it has not been renewed, the website may become unavailable. Pay Once Sites is not responsible for domain loss or interruption caused by non-renewal where renewal is not under our management.

10. Hosting

Hosting is included as part of the standard £399 website package. We do not charge a monthly website hosting fee for the standard website package.

Where hosting depends on third-party infrastructure, it remains subject to the availability, acceptable use rules and service conditions of those third-party providers.

If you request functionality, scale, storage, integrations or services that require paid infrastructure beyond the standard website setup, we will discuss this with you before any additional cost is incurred.

11. Post-Launch Changes and Support

The £399 website package covers the website build and launch. It does not include unlimited future edits or ongoing monthly support. After launch, changes are charged separately.

We currently offer an optional support arrangement of £30 per month for up to 3 minor website changes per month. Minor changes may include updating text, replacing images, changing contact details or making small content corrections.

Larger changes are quoted separately and may cost £50 to £100 or more depending on complexity. Larger changes may include creating a new page, adding major new sections, substantial design changes, adding advanced features, restructuring the website or integrating new third-party systems.

Any support arrangement or change request will be agreed separately.

12. SEO and Marketing Expectations

Our package includes basic SEO setup designed to give your website a solid foundation. This may include page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, local service keyword usage, search-friendly page structure and readable content for customers and search engines.

However, we do not guarantee first-page rankings on Google, specific keyword positions, ranking in AI search results, website traffic levels, leads, sales or revenue. Search visibility and commercial results depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, location, website authority, customer demand, ongoing SEO activity and wider market conditions.

13. Delivery Times

We aim to provide most standard websites for review within 5 working days after receiving the information needed to begin. This is a target timeline, not a guaranteed deadline.

Delivery may take longer where required information is delayed, the brief is incomplete, revisions are extensive, the scope changes, third-party systems cause delays, or unusual technical issues arise. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed where timelines change.

14. Project Pauses and Lack of Response

If we request information, feedback or approval and do not hear from you, the project may be paused until you respond. Where a project remains inactive for an extended period, we may close the working file and ask you to confirm whether you wish to continue before resuming work.

If you have not approved or paid for the website, no website will be launched.

15. Refusal of Work

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry or project at our discretion. This may include projects involving unlawful activity, misleading claims, abusive or inappropriate content, hate speech, explicit adult content, scams or deceptive businesses, or businesses we reasonably believe may create reputational, legal or technical risk.

Where we decline a project before payment, no fee is due.

16. Website Use

You agree not to use this website unlawfully, fraudulently, to submit false or misleading information, to interfere with the operation or security of the website, to attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or to send spam or malicious submissions through our forms. We may restrict access to the website where necessary to protect its operation or security.

17. Third-Party Services

Our website and client websites may use third-party services such as form processing providers, domain registrars, hosting providers, analytics tools where applicable, spam protection services, communication platforms such as WhatsApp and email providers.

These services are operated by their own providers and are subject to their own terms, availability and privacy practices. Pay Once Sites is not responsible for outages, policy changes or failures caused solely by third-party providers outside our reasonable control.

18. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that your personal data will be handled as described in that policy.

You can read our Privacy Policy at: https://payoncesites.com/privacy-policy

19. Liability

We aim to provide our services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Pay Once Sites is not liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, indirect or consequential losses, losses arising from inaccurate information supplied by you, losses caused by third-party systems, hosting providers, registrars or service platforms outside our reasonable control, or search ranking changes, traffic changes or commercial performance after launch.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability in connection with a paid project will not exceed the amount paid to Pay Once Sites for that specific project, unless the law requires otherwise.

20. Refunds

Because our standard process allows you to review the website before you choose to pay, payment is only requested once you approve the work and ask us to proceed to launch.

Once you have approved the website, paid for it and the website has been launched or final files have been delivered, fees are not normally refundable except where required by law. This does not affect any legal rights that cannot be excluded.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the updated date shown at the top.

Continued use of our website after changes are published means you accept the revised terms for future use of the website. Any ongoing paid project will remain subject to the terms agreed at the time that project was approved unless otherwise agreed in writing.

22. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these Terms, this website or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless the law requires otherwise.
